Linda Allen: Must See Designer at 2010 Pasadena Showcase House

This years Pasadena Showcase House wasn't much to write home about...until I saw Linda Allen's ultra glam "Morning Room".  Just off the main entry, Linda's space glows with natural light with floor to ceiling French doors that open to a serene garden setting.

Her color palette of warm taupes are perfectly complimented with contrasting lime green and apple shades on the upholstery.  Even more impressive is the Versailles inspired ceiling which features handpainted fretwork by Ken Moffatt over a series of circles that Linda says are a representation of movement over time.

Linda's talent expands far beyond interiors, she also designed the chandelier and most all of the furnishings and accessories in the space.  There is no doubt we will be hearing and seeing a lot more from this incredibly talented designer in the upcoming months!

The Pasadena Showcase House is open April 18th - May 16th.  For more information: www.pasadenashowcase.org
